Two years ago, I was elected State Representative for the 18th District under the theme: If not now, when? Dover needed a change from the business-as-usual environment, and it still does.  As the end of my first terms nears, Dover’s new leadership has sowed the seeds of change but much work remains ahead. We have a long way to go.

During my 2008 campaign, I emphasized three issues that were paramount in my decision to run for office:

• Upgrading our education system
• Efficient quality and delivery of health care and social services
• Attracting business to stimulate the job market and strengthen our middle class
